Implants
All implants placed at Vero Beach Dental Care are placed utilizing cone beam computed tomography, (CBCT) 3D scans. After the scan, Invivo implant planning 3D software is used to virtually place the implant accurately in an ideal position on a computer model of the patient’s available bone. A surgical guide is then manufactured with CAD/CAM technology to ensure the implant is as perfectly placed in the mouth as it was virtually planned. This new technology insures highest degree of success with minimal risk.

Bonding
Bonding is a process in which an enamel-like material is applied to a tooth`s surface, sculpted to an ideal shape, hardened, and then polished for an ideal smile. This procedure usually can be accomplished in a single visit.

Crowns and Bridges
Crowns are synthetic caps, usually made of a material like porcelain, placed on the top of a tooth. Crowns are typically used to restore a tooth’s function and appearance following a restorative procedure such as a root canal. When decay in a tooth has become so advanced that large portions of the tooth must be removed, crowns are often used to restore the tooth.

Teeth Whitening
Whitening procedures have effectively restored the smile of people with stained, dull, or discolored teeth. At VBDC, there are a variety of whitening options available. For all whitening procedures, Opalescence products are use. We offer in office whitening, custom trays that allow the patient to whiten at home, as well as Opalescence Go 15% Mint Whitening.

Root Canal Therapy
Root canal therapy is a remarkable treatment with a very high rate of success, and involves removing the diseased tissue, halting the spread of infection and restoring the healthy portion of the tooth. In fact, root canal therapy is designed to save a problem tooth; before the procedure was developed and gained acceptance, the only alternative for treating a diseased tooth was extraction.

Cosmetic Contouring
People choose cosmetic dental procedures for various reasons – to repair a defect such as a malformed bite or crooked teeth, treat an injury, or just improve their overall appearance. For these and many other reasons, cosmetic dentistry has become a vital and important part of the dental profession and one of the fastest growing areas of dentistry.

Dentures
Dentures are designed to replace missing teeth, and are worn by millions of Americans. Technological advancements have resulted in dentures that are lightweight and mimic the look and feel of natural teeth. Most dentures are made from a combination of metals and synthetic material such as acrylic resin. At VBDC we take the appropriate steps to fabricate a denture that will have an ideal fit and design.

Veneers
A veneer is a layer of material placed over a tooth. There are two main types of material used to fabricate a veneer: composite and dental porcelain Veneers can improve the aesthetics of a smile and protect the tooth’s surface from damage. Veneers are used on teeth with uneven surfaces or teeth that are chipped, discolored, oddly shaped, unevenly spaced or crooked. Veneers have a longer life expectancy and color stability than bonding, and highly resist permanent staining from coffee, tea, or even cigarette smoking.

Sealants
Sealants are liquid coatings that harden on the chewing surfaces of teeth and are showing a great deal of effectiveness in preventing cavities—even on teeth where decay has begun

Scaling and Root Planing
Some cases of acute periodontal (gum) disease that do not respond to more conventional treatment and self-care such as flossing may require a special kind of cleaning called scaling and root planing.

Nitrous Oxide
The combination of inhaled nitrous oxide and oxygen is a safe and effective means of managing pain and anxiety in dentistry.

Conscious Sedation Dentistry
If you’ve been hiding your smile, putting up with pain, or putting off going to the dentist because of your nervousness about dental treatment or you are just too busy, you have come to the right place. With safe oral sedation techniques, Dr. Roger and Morgan Clay can restore your mouth to health with a beautiful smile with little or no discomfort. Dr. Roger and Morgan Clay are board certified in Florida to administer parental conscious sedation.
