Our goal is to not let expense prevent you from benefiting from the quality of care you desire and need. For your convenience, we accept cash, personal checks, money orders, and major credit cards including VISA, MasterCard, AMEX and Discover. Payment is expected at the time services are performed. When more extensive dental care is necessary, financial arrangements can be made with our office.
Insurance
As a service to our patients, our practice accepts most dental insurance programs, including non-managed care and PPO out-of-network. We are not part of any managed care network. Our staff will prepare and submit your insurance claims electronically to expedite your dental benefit reimbursement. However, we remind you that your specific dental insurance policy is an agreement between you and your insurance company. Please keep in mind that you are responsible for your total balance due should your insurance benefits result in less coverage than anticipated. Our staff will gladly submit a pre-treatment authorization to your insurance company so you will know in advance of treatment your total out of pocket expense.
The procedure fees charged to all patients, with or without insurance are identical and based on an annually updated survey of fees from dental practices in local areas beginning with Zip Code 329. Your dental insurance policy may base it’s benefit allowance on a fixed fee schedule or on a percentage of a usual and customary fee schedule which differs from Dr. Clay’s fee schedule. You should be aware that different insurance companies vary greatly in types of coverage available. Also some companies pay claims promptly, while others delay payment for several months.
Dental Financing
We’re pleased to offer our patients Care Credit that lets you begin your treatment immediately; then pay for it over time with low monthly payments that fit into your monthly budget. No interest financing is available if paid off in 12 months. There are no up-front cost, pre-payment penalties or annual fees. Please contact our office to learn more about these financing options.
